meet shawn

Shawn is a dentist in Richardson, Texas where she has the honor of caring for multiple generations of families. Dentistry is her passion and a place she uses her gifts to serve God and others. Shawn and her husband, Brett, have two adult children. Together, they have served their church for over 20 years teaching children and youth. She has been on the board of Dallas Deltas Alumnae chapter and their philanthropy—Cookies & Castles. Shawn has also volunteered with Delta Delta Delta by serving on the board of the SMU House Corporation and as an advisor at SMU and UT Dallas. She is currently serving as a Recruitment Specialist for three collegiate chapters. 

Shawn believes strongly in the mission of The Gap at Sawmill Meadow and has great affinity for the South Fork/Creede area since it has been a vacation spot for her husband’s family for over 70 years. Having a child who has not taken a traditional path, Shawn sees the value in the holistic program that The Gap provides for new adults. 

Shawn received a B.S. from the University of Oklahoma and her D.D.S. from the University of Michigan. Fall Saturdays are spent watching football, and she recently started a podcast with her college best friend focusing on Sooner athletics with an emphasis on football.
